Silence throughout the night.
When Bella Green woke up, the sky was already bright.
She rubbed her forehead, looking at the sunlight streaming through the thick curtains, and got out of bed to open them directly.
Looking at the sun hanging high outside, she paused for a moment.
Then, she looked at the clock on the wall; it was already past ten.
She couldn't believe she slept this late.
She walked out of the bedroom, scanned the room, but didn't see Mason Bennett.
Finally, her gaze fell on the pillow on the sofa.
Bella Green pressed her lips together.
Did he sleep here last night?
Just as she was thinking, the door to the room opened, and Bella Green instinctively turned her head.
She saw Elliot Morris walking in with breakfast.
Seeing Bella Green in the living room, Elliot Morris paused for a moment, then quickly smiled.
"Miss Green, the boss has gone to work. He specifically asked me not to disturb you and to come in at the right time to bring breakfast.
