The three of them were talking when William Wang walked over, impeccably dressed, a gentle smile on his face.
But Bella Green, who knew what he was really like, only felt that smile was particularly disgusting.
"Congratulations, Miss Green. With acting skills like yours, you're definitely going to get more and more popular. If you ever need my help in the future, don't be shy."
This was an obvious olive branch; Bella didn't need him to spell out what he meant.
Wasn't he just afraid she'd blow the whistle on his dirty little secrets?
"Then thank you in advance, Teacher Wang."
Bella truly had no interest in his business. This kind of thing was going to explode sooner or later anyway, and she didn't have the spare energy to deal with thankless, offending-people chores like that.
Her answer made William Wang think she'd agreed to keep her mouth shut. He immediately smiled, nodded to the three of them, and turned to leave.
