She swiftly steps back, suddenly pausing as if she's thought of something.
All this happens in a flash.
Bella Green just barely dodges the slap, but she doesn't escape Lucy Stone's fingertips.
The man's nail grazes Bella Green's cheek, leaving a faint blood mark.
The slight sting makes Bella Green's right corner of the mouth curl up slightly.
From the direction of the audience, it's not visible.
But Lucy Stone in front of her clearly sees the girl's sinister and bizarre smile, causing her heart to skip a beat.
