"What's the matter, at a loss for words?"
Louis Lawrence paid no regard to his flustered state, his smile growing increasingly audacious and nasty.
Vivian Thornecroft's heart raced a bit faster. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Anna and I have been engaged since we were children. Bella is at most a sister to me. Besides, I'm really not familiar with her."
Vivian Thornecroft was still maintaining her composure.
Louis Lawrence, however, chuckled aloud, about to say something else, but then his gaze shifted, landing on Mason Bennett, who looked even more ashen-faced than Vivian Thornecroft.
He arched a brow.
Almost forgot, his brother-in-law was still here.
No doubt even he isn't very clear about these affairs, right?
Louis Lawrence touched the tip of his nose, suddenly feeling a bit innocent.
"Not familiar?"
Louis Lawrence laughed, stood up, approached Vivian Thornecroft, bending slightly, getting closer.
