They almost thought they would never see Bella Green again.
The old Mrs. Bennett supported herself with a cane in one hand and reached out to Bella Green with the other, stumbling as she walked towards her.
Bella Green's eyes were red, and her nose felt sour. She jogged forward to support the old lady.
The old Mrs. Bennett looked Bella up and down several times, tears wetting her wrinkled face.
"Good, good, good, as long as you're safe, that's what's important."
The old Mrs. Bennett's voice got lower and lower, and in the end, she was just choked with sobs.
Bella Green felt the same struggle in her heart. Watching the old lady, she knew how worried she had been about her during this time.
"Grandma, I'm fine. Don't cry. Look, I don't have a scratch on me."
Bella Green smiled like a blooming flower, coaxing the old lady, spinning around twice on the spot.
