Sophie Wilson put down the hair dryer, pulled over a chair, sat across from Charles Seymour, and asked him with a smile, "Mr. Seymour, what are you doing?"
"Calling you." Charles Seymour said it so seriously, which made Sophie Wilson burst into laughter, "What? Are you worried that I'll run away?"
"Yes." Charles Seymour answered quickly and earnestly, leaving Sophie Wilson truly speechless.
"You're something else, what are you thinking? How can I run away? We've already gotten engaged." Sophie Wilson shook her head with a smile, really not knowing what goes through his mind every day.
Charles Seymour didn't say anything, just kept gazing at Sophie Wilson.
His gaze was serious and profound, making Sophie Wilson's amused mood slowly disappear, all replaced by the deep affection conveyed by his gaze.
Sophie Wilson reached out, held his hand, and said, "Stop overthinking. We've been busy all day and are tired, go back and rest early, be good."
