Clarissa paused for a moment, then laughed: "Yes, Charles certainly won't let anyone bully Sophie."
"Mm." Mason Wilson nodded with relief.
"However, I absolutely cannot let her off easily either!" Clarissa said with resentment.
"Clarissa, what are you going to do?" Mason asked nervously, "Don't do anything irrational just for revenge."
"Don't worry, I'm not stupid enough to drag myself down with it," Clarissa said with amusement, looking at Mason, "I have a daughter by my side now, how could I not enjoy the good life and instead ruin everything together with Chaya Davis? That would be too foolish."
"That's good," Mason let out a long breath, speaking with relaxation, "Alright, go to sleep."
He was truly afraid that Clarissa might impulsively do something reckless.
