Looking down at Charles Seymour seriously massaging her hand, Sophie Wilson felt all the salt in the ocean of her heart had turned to sugar; just a taste, and it was sweet enough to make her teeth ache!
"Since they left so easily, they must have gone to think of another plan." Since Mr. Seymour cared so much for her, of course Sophie Wilson had to think more about him. "Could they have gone to find Grandpa?"
"James Reed would think of that." Charles Seymour said calmly, one sentence fully explained how well he understood both James Reed and Ethan Seymour.
It also showed even more clearly just how disdainful he was of dealing with that family.
"Always tattling, no matter how old they are and still think they're three-year-olds?" Sophie Wilson snorted disdainfully, then asked Charles Seymour, "What if Grandpa scolds you?"
Charles Seymour hadn't even considered that possibility, which was why Sophie's question caught him by surprise.
