Sophie Wilson looked up because of Charles Seymour's not-so-good tone and said, "Mr. Seymour, you know what? With your personality, it's really easy to get into arguments with others!"
Charles Seymour looked at Sophie Wilson in confusion.
Seeing Charles Seymour so innocent, Sophie Wilson really couldn't get angry.
"What did you mean by the question you just asked?" Sophie Wilson asked.
Charles Seymour was stunned. He hadn't figured out what he said earlier, why did it feel like Sophie seemed a bit unhappy.
"Your words sounded like a questioning, as if I wronged you," Sophie Wilson said.
Charles Seymour frowned, a touch of panic flashed through his eyes, and he spoke, "I didn't mean that."
"I meant... what were you doing delaying your meal just to think about James Reed?" Charles Seymour finally expressed his meaning clearly.
