"Hmm, I got it." Emerie Wilson responded, but instead of going to find Old Man Wilson, she went straight back to the Wilson Clan to see Old Mrs. Wilson.
"Mom, look at Dad's company people, what's going on here? Why did they put Benjamin in such an office?" Emerie complained to Old Mrs. Wilson as soon as she got back home.
"Without Benjamin, James wouldn't cooperate with our family and take us along with the bidding." Emerie reminded discontentedly, "Mom, we can't just burn bridges after crossing the river."
"What's this nonsense?" Old Mrs. Wilson tapped her forehead, "The company naturally has its own arrangements, doesn't your father have a clue?"
"If Benjamin does well, your father will see it and won't treat him unfairly." Old Mrs. Wilson's words left Emerie feeling half discouraged, as her parents were still guarding against Benjamin.
How could they be like this?
