Kai Bright stared at his now darkened phone, frowning.
Indeed, how could he have been so worried about his parents meeting Lucy's family and forgotten such an important thing?
His parents have been busy with the company abroad and couldn't possibly know about his relationship from him. Someone must be pulling strings behind the scenes.
He had lost his vigilance because of the relationship, damn it!
Kai Bright smacked his head hard. Fortunately, Charles Seymour reminded him.
Otherwise, if a major mistake was made during a mission in the future, it wouldn't matter if he got into trouble, but if it impacted the mission and implicated his teammates, it would truly be unforgivable!
It seems his skills are still not up to par.
