Clarissa turned her head, staring blankly at Mason Wilson.
Her soul-dead expression was enough to scare Mason Wilson to death: "Clarissa?"
Mason Wilson noticed Clarissa's odd reaction and quickly took the phone from her hand: "Sophie, are you okay?"
"I'm fine?" Sophie Wilson asked strangely from the other end of the line, "Dad, what's up?"
Why ask her such a question all of a sudden?
"Your mom took your call and completely froze. I was worried something happened on your end." Mason Wilson heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing everything was fine with Sophie.
"Oh, nothing's wrong here," Sophie Wilson sighed lightly, "Dad, are you sitting or standing right now?"
"Standing. Why?" Mason thought his wife was acting strange today, as was his daughter.
"Then you'd better sit down. I'll give you some news that will explain why my mom is acting this way." Sophie said.
"Oh." Mason Wilson really listened to Sophie this time and sat down, "I'm seated. Go ahead."
