Lucy Wells didn't even care that she'd been covered in slick blood, she simply and expertly used a scarf as a tourniquet.
"Call your husband," Lucy Wells kept her hands moving as she instructed the injured man's wife.
The woman, stained with blood, immediately started screaming. In her panic, seeing Lucy Wells was like seeing a savior, she obeyed whatever Lucy said.
The woman shouted twice and, seeing her husband not responding, instinctively reached out to push him.
Just as her hand extended, a large hand held it, and she heard a man squatting beside them at some point say, "Don't shake your husband now, we don't know if he has internal injuries."
Upon hearing this, the woman broke into a cold sweat, realizing she almost harmed her husband further.
"Do you have any relatives? Call them to accompany you to the hospital," the man said softly.
The woman finally reacted, trembling, and took out her phone to call her parents.
