Old Mr. Seymour suddenly clutched his chest, feeling a bit short of breath.
"Grandpa?" Charles Seymour stood up abruptly.
Old Mr. Seymour waved his hand and said, "I'm fine."
After he finished speaking, he let out a heavy sigh, then asked, "What did you just say? Sophie is..."
Charles observed Old Mr. Seymour's expression carefully, making sure nothing was wrong, and then nodded and said, "Yes."
"Then when did Sophie have the baby? Why did she give the child to you?" The more Old Mr. Seymour spoke, the more he felt something wasn't right. "How come Sophie has never asked about the child?"
"This matter involves secrets." Charles' words left Old Mr. Seymour speechless. His great-grandchild's identity involves secrets?
"I don't care about secrets or whatever, I just want to know when my great-grandchild and granddaughter-in-law can be reunited." Old Mr. Seymour set aside his earlier shock and went straight to the core of the issue.
Charles remained silent.
