Sophie Wilson was truly exasperated by Ethan Seymour; he could say anything without thinking.
"Does he know or not? I think even you probably don't know." Sophie wasn't angry; instead, she spoke with a smile.
"What? Are you scared now too? Afraid that Mr. Nelson will find out your true nature and you'll lose him as a friend?" Ethan Seymour immediately "understood."
Sophie Wilson could be scared sometimes, huh.
Hmph!
He thought Sophie Wilson was so impressive, but wasn't she just clinging to a powerful ally, cautiously trying to please, not daring to let go?
"I'm truly scared." Sophie's exaggerated fearful expression gave Ethan no sense of accomplishment; instead, he felt deeply humiliated. This fury made him clench his teeth, glaring at Sophie fiercely, and he spat out her name heavily, "Sophie Wilson!"
Sophie shrugged and replied amusingly, "No need to shout so loud; my brain's still functioning, I know what I'm called."
