Charles Seymour completely ignored Frederick Cole's tightly furrowed brows and instead said to the little one in his arms, "Call Grandpa."
"Grandpa!" The little one called out in a crisp voice, scattering all the gloom in Frederick Cole's heart.
"Come to Grandpa." Frederick Cole smiled and beckoned to the child.
Charles Seymour very generously set the little one down onto Frederick Cole's lap.
The kid didn't seem shy at all, snuggling obediently into Frederick Cole's arms, eyes rolling around, curiously taking in everything around him.
"Mommy!" After watching the screens for a while, the little one suddenly pointed at one of them and cried out excitedly.
Only then did Frederick Cole remember that things had already started over there.
He hurriedly followed the direction of the child's finger, and sure enough, saw Sophie Wilson appear on the surveillance monitor.
