Charles Seymour stared blankly, his mind in knots.
Why did he bother going through all that trouble to have a son?
Feeling frustrated for a while, Charles Seymour finally chose to compromise.
He turned around, embraced Sophie Wilson, who was holding their little treasure, and the family of three felt completely satisfied.
Sophie Wilson opened her eyes, feeling the familiar arms around her waist, speechless for a moment. She nudged the guy behind her with her elbow and asked, "Why are you here?"
Wasn't he supposed to come tomorrow?
"Finished up work at the company," Charles Seymour said with the groggy tone of someone just waking up.
Sophie Wilson sighed lightly, turned to face Charles Seymour, and tapped the dark circles under his eyes with her finger, saying, "You and the little treasure sleep a bit longer; I'll get up first."
He must have been busy for half the day.
