Cheng Family.
Mr. Cheng and Madam Cheng had just gone to bed when the housekeeper came knocking on their door.
"Master, Madam, Second Master is back."
Mr. Cheng frowned and began to get up: "What time is it? How dare he come back! Throw him out for me..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Madam Cheng covered his mouth with her hand.
Madam Cheng inquired, "Did Second Master say anything when he returned?"
The housekeeper said, "He didn't say much, just asked the servants to bring new clothes and make his favorite dishes. He said he would greet the elders tomorrow and then enter the palace."
"Oh, and Second Master also asked if his room was ready. He insisted on sleeping in his room."
Hearing this, Madam Cheng's eyebrows relaxed.
"This rebellious son." Mr. Cheng could barely contain his anger and was about to get up to chase him out himself.
"Alright, Master," Madam Cheng persuaded, "It should be fine now."
Mr. Cheng stopped at these words.
