Old Mrs. Chen's birthday banquet is almost ready.
From the palace decorations to the various dishes, Xie Liangchen inspected everything personally, with help from Meng Changshu and a few others, ensuring everything proceeded smoothly.
The Longevity Painting for Old Mrs. Chen and Grand Dowager Song has been embroidered.
The dresses for the two elderly ladies were also made by Xie Liangchen and the women of Chen Family Village.
"There have been many visitors to the palace these days, and everyone keeps mentioning stories from the past," Xie Liangchen laughed. "It's made me recall the first time the four of us gathered in the Capital City."
