Tang Yanqi didn't agree immediately, instead, she went back to ask Sheng Jianan's opinion.
Sheng Jianan was changing clothes, when he heard Tang Yanqi's words, he paused, with a bit of surprise in his eyes. Tang Yanqi thought he was unwilling and was about to say "forget it", when he casually threw the tie he'd just taken off, took a long stride, and quickly stood in front of her.
"Mrs. Sheng, have you finally decided your husband is presentable?"
Tang Yanqi: "..."
When did she think he wasn't presentable?
She's not taking the blame for this!
Sheng Jianan chuckled twice, and then pecked Tang Yanqi on the forehead: "Alright, I'll arrange this, how about this Friday afternoon, after you get off work?"
Tang Yanqi thought for a moment, specially calling people out on a weekend didn't seem nice either. Without work on Saturday and Sunday, she wouldn't be dragged into gossip the next day, which was nice.
"Sure."
At the end, Tang Yanqi added: "Don't make it too extravagant."
