"..."
In the solitary Half-Plane filled with tomes, the last Secret Keeper sat quietly in meditation on the ground.
Ashen Bishop Ophidia lowered her head, half-closed her eyes, and entered a state akin to meditation.
She wasn't spacing out, she was thinking.
Just now, Ophidia had another dream.
This time, she "dreamed" of that unexpected person again.
The two of them didn't do anything special, merely stood side by side, quietly sitting in the Half-Plane reading books.
Throughout the dream, not a single word was exchanged, yet she felt a spiritual resonance with him.
"Herbert...why you?"
Why did she dream of him?
To Ophidia, Herbert was just the most interesting among countless promising juniors.
Logically, she had no more emotional investment in Herbert beyond "expectation," so she shouldn't have dreamed about him.
But somehow, his figure appeared in her dreams.
... No.
Or perhaps, was it really a dream?
