As the bubble closed, Ron entered a strange space.
It was filled with warm life energy, and the air was suffused with a reassuring aura.
Most wondrously, he could still perceive the world outside in some way, as if he had acquired Nari's sensory system.
Outside, five Pathfinder pioneers were cautiously approaching the edge of the storm.
"Can you feel it?" one of the Flesh Demons rasped.
Its voice was produced by hundreds of throats simultaneously, layered like some eerie choral performance:

"Lord Mad Bite has sensed Apostle-level energy release."
