Chloe looked at Cedric's face and sighed softly.
What exactly has this kid been through? He looks so miserable... as if anyone who comes along will bully him.
"How is he doing?" Aisha asked, poking her head out stealthily, "Didn't you pretty much heal him? Why is he still unconscious?"
"His spirit is damaged, and Recovery isn't strong enough yet to reject mental abnormalities," Chloe said somewhat helplessly, "Didn't you say you weren't planning to check on him first? Why did you come over again?"
Aisha pouted as if she wanted to say something but ended up mumbling without speaking out.
Saying outright [I want to see what my son looks like when he grows up] felt a bit too shy.
But not coming to see him felt wrong too.
Even though Aisha had no experience being a mother yet, she felt instinctively that something was off about all this.
"So when did you last see him?"
Chloe asked, curious.
Seeing the way Aisha acted, it wasn't her first time seeing Cedric.
