The man was probably in his thirties. No matter how much his mother made his heart ache on ordinary days, he wouldn't stand for her being bullied in public. He angrily lifted his head and looked over. First, he saw four children with frightened expressions, then he noticed a man, two women, and another child, with one woman older and the other younger. It was obviously a family gathering.
These two tables of people didn't look like the ones who would bully his mother.
The man hesitated, and his anger subsided a bit. He turned to ask, "Mom, who bullied you? What exactly happened?"
The middle-aged woman raised her hand and pointed at the four frightened youths, saying, "It was them, go and beat them up for me!"
She was furious; if she couldn't get this out of her system, she felt she would suffocate!
The man opened his mouth, glanced at the four youths, and then frowned, realizing that things might not be as he thought.
