The 6503 ship was using a mechanical arm to grip the corpse of an alternate space creature, but at this moment, this area of space was incredibly difficult to observe.
Added to that, the distance was so vast that without special equipment on a research vessel, it was almost impossible to notice anything.
So, the observer thought that the anomalous energy "enveloped" the company level ship, which wasn't entirely off the mark.
However, the team leader took another look; having chosen high magnification on the equipment, he spoke irritably.
"This anomaly is as big as a fart, and it deserves your panic?"
He felt it necessary to assign this subordinate some work to prevent idle trouble making, which was affecting him, more importantly.
The subordinate, however, was so frustrated that he slammed his left fist into his right palm, "Boss... this position is already beyond the energy beam's range!"
