Autumn Stetford sat elegantly askew with her legs crossed, holding a fine jade cigarette holder, looking like a beauty from an old-style calendar.
Ruby Sheldon immediately laughed and ran over to Autumn, "Mom! It's so good to see you!"
She flung herself into Autumn's arms, burying her whole self in her chest.
Autumn affectionately patted her head and said, "Why are you back so soon? Did you have fun?"
"I've been there for five days, didn't you miss me, Mom?" Ruby hugged Autumn's neck, acting coquettishly. "I've been thinking about Dad and Mom every day. I couldn't stay any longer, so I came back."
"Your sweet little mouth! Not many can speak as well as you." Autumn's eyes narrowed with a smile.
