"How could that be? My mom isn't like that!" Edward Foster praised his mother fervently, clearly showing a close mother-son relationship.
Lawrence Winters had met Mrs. Foster and knew she was indeed a good mother and wife.
Seeing Edward getting anxious, Lawrence quickly said, "I know Mrs. Foster is an especially good person. Your future wife is lucky to have such a good mother-in-law. Her married life will be very happy."
Edward turned away upon hearing that and couldn't help but smile, his face slightly flushed.
But the more he thought about it, the more something didn't feel right.
