Beatrice looked at the messages coming from various directions. The assaults by the Abyssal Church were all suppressed, and almost all of their high-ranking members were killed on the spot.
She couldn't help saying to Louis, "I didn't expect the united siege to go so smoothly this time. Louis, your strategy is amazing."
Louis glanced at his dear wife and shook his head, saying:
"This has nothing to do with me being amazing. In my hometown, there's a saying about a scheme, above a conspiracy but below an open strategy, called a divine scheme."
Beatrice had always enjoyed hearing stories about Louis's hometown, although she had long suspected that his homeland was nothing like a small village on the border of the Ense Empire.
Seeing her curiosity, Louis said, "Let's think about a question first. If it's said that the full-scale extermination plan against the Abyssal Church was devised by me, when did this grand scheme start?"
