Yu Sangwan walked to the bedside. Le Zhengsheng had calmed down and was sleeping peacefully, with an IV in both hands.
"Ah Sheng." Yu Sangwan spoke softly, sitting beside him. Le Zhengsheng's lips were dry, so she quickly wetted a cotton swab and moistened his lips.
During the process, Helian Si watched silently... His heart was not unshaken, he hadn't expected Le Zhengsheng to become so weak.
The thin lips moved slightly, "Is he gravely ill?"
"Yes." Yu Sangwan nodded, "He has a family history of illness... Several of his brothers passed away because of this, he is the only child left, so they named him 'Sheng'... But..."
She choked up, unable to continue.
But even if she didn't speak, Helian Si understood. Being named 'Sheng'... yet not necessarily able to survive. This thought, indeed, carried a certain melancholy!
Helian Si slowly stepped forward, lifted his hand, and placed it gently on Yu Sangwan's shoulder.
"..." Yu Sangwan was startled and froze without moving.
