David and Chi appeared out of thin air at the edge of the battlefield and unsurprisingly got swept into this inexplicable war.
"Damn it! What kind of madness is this world?!"
On one side is a surge of immortal spirits, on the other is a cold mechanical onslaught…
Upon first arriving in this world, Chi immediately felt the "warmth" of this place.
The sky was filled with bone arrows and cannon fire clashing together, scaring Chi so much that he dropped from the air, fearing he might be caught in the relentless assault.
David, who was well-prepared, activated the energy barrier at once.
He then grabbed Chi's arm without a second thought and dashed towards the edge of the battlefield.
"If it weren't for the madness, how could there be a chance to ascend to godhood?"
The voice was as cold as ever, the tone as composed as always.
David's mechanical body showcased its advantages vividly in that moment.
