The injured man at Su Yue's feet had fainted from excessive blood loss. Su Yue checked his pulse; he wasn't dead yet.
Su Yue probed the injured man's body with his Qi Blood to see how much of the evil presence remained, hoping he could attempt a rescue.
However, Su Yue immediately despaired. If the evil presence in his own body was like a single grain of rice, then the evil in the injured man's body was a whole pot of rice. He could work himself to death and still never clear it out entirely.
Turning around, Su Yue saw that the ground of the aid station was already dyed red with blood. The stench of blood permeated the air, and all the medical personnel were acting like madmen. They changed their medical plans, attempting various methods to stop the bleeding. But it was useless.
Whether it was sutures, hemostatic sprays, direct pressure, or even extreme methods like cauterization and freezing—none of it worked. Everyone's blood coagulation seemed to have completely failed.
