"Morton Beef Soup," an affordable breakfast spot near Lirong Inn, more of a breakfast stall than a store, has been in operation for decades. Old Morton runs the kitchen, and his grandson, Little Morton, assists him. While the grandfather is quite crafty, Little Morton is much more shy, with fair skin, somewhat handsome, and not very talkative.
The specialty beef soup served with a Hedan pancake—how to put it, Li Xin had to get used to it for a while. The beef soup is surprisingly sweet, made with a unique Hedan fruit. The pancakes are quite chewy. Though just a small stall, Simmons found them very tasty. Having been in Hedan for a while, he noticed that in terms of nobility and decorum, Hedan is a lot grander than Lirong Inn, but Simmons himself didn't feel much of a difference.
"Tell me about your plan," Li Xin asked while eating. "Boss, one more bowl, with two extra servings of meat."
