Lancer's spyglass shook violently as he turned to observe the gigantic alchemical element cannon, where a large group of pirates was reloading it. Their actions were chaotic and unprofessional, but a faint white glow was already emanating from its enormous barrel. "That thing! It's charging again!"
The sailors who heard Lancer's shout trembled slightly, fear creeping into their hearts. Damn pirates, if it weren't for the ambush that slowed down the Mermaid, they could use water manipulation to quickly catch up. Whether it's a boarding battle or a close-range cannon fight, even a slight frown from them would be deemed cowardly. They didn't fear death itself, but rather the current predicament which rendered their deaths valueless and devoid of honor.
Simmons took a deep breath. Damn it, who wants to harm him? Damn it, they should come. The enemy evidently knows his route and his combat power.
