More than a dozen hunting dogs were tracking the scent of the Demon Hunter.
Behind them was a large group of Witch Hunters, at least eighty or ninety people. The Eternal Flame Church had almost gathered all the Witch Hunters they could find nearby.
Following the Witch Hunters were some fully armed Church Knights. They had difficulty moving with their warhorses because the dense forest was inconvenient for movement. Moreover, many were wearing full-body armor. If they stepped into a waterlogged area, their entire foot would sink into the mud.
They cursed as they moved forward, their speed far slower than the Witch Hunters, who were only equipped with light armor.
More people could be seen arriving from afar, some on horseback, intending to circle around and cut off the Demon Hunter's escape route.
