This was Ming Kai's first time having such a close encounter with Qiu Zi, her fair neck and delicate, exquisite chin coming into view. Ming Kai's breathing started to become a bit heavy, and the atmosphere in the car turned subtle.
Qiu Zi felt a bit awkward, pulling over the seat belt from Ming Kai's hand, forcing a smile, "Your car, really, such a tight seat belt." As she spoke, there was a click sound, and Qiu Zi buckled the seat belt herself.
Ming Kai sat up straight, "Where's your place, I'll take you home."
Qiu Zi shook her head, "No need, just drop me off at the subway station up ahead, I can take the subway home myself."
Ming Kai gripped the steering wheel, eyes fixed on Qiu Zi, "What do you take me for? A wild beast or a hooligan *** Do you need to be this cautious?"
Qiu Zi chuckled, "No! Just having Director Ming take me home, I feel a bit nervous."
Ming Kai glanced at Qiu Zi speechlessly, and eventually didn't force her, driving straight towards the subway station.
