The steamed eggs in the morning had a bit of a strange taste.
Liu Juanhao looked at her daughter's eager eyes and couldn't resist feeding her a bite. Who knew that just as she fed one bite, Wang Meili stopped her, "You eat it, stop spoiling the child."
"I don't have to eat either," Liu Juanhao said.
"How can that be?" Wang Meili said angrily, "I spent the whole morning making this steamed egg for you. I also made some pastries in the pot; you can all eat them later on."
Liu Juanhao was even more surprised. Could it be that Gu Haojun's outburst yesterday caused her to change?
If that's the case, then that's great.
"Thank you, Mom," Liu Juanhao said, feeling touched.
"No need for thanks, we're family," Wang Meili said with a smile, "You two eat first, I'll go check if the pastries in the pot are ready."
With that, she smiled and went to the kitchen.
Liu Juanhao stood up and looked at the sky; her daughter looked at her curiously.
