"Who are you?" Carter demanded.
The man stood up and straightened his arm and raised it.
Carter's eyes widened.
There are too many people in the building. Carter thought.
He ran towards the receptionist. The man's arm turned into missiles and came towards Carter and the receptionist woman.
Carter shielded everything and the receptionist using the Dark Faith.
The explosion shook the entire building. Carter moved his finger, and the shield converted into many bear claws. The man dodged a few but got hit by one of the which send him a few miles, across a few buildings.
Carter looked at the receptionist, "The building will collapse soon, get everyone to safety."
The receptionist nodded.
Carter flew towards the direction the man was pushed. The man stood up from the debris and was floating in the air.
Carter created a sword from Dark Faith ability. The man opened his mouth a large beam of laser came. Carter couldn't dodged it because there buildings and houses.
Carter created a large barrier and took the large force of the beam, but the shield reflected the laser beam at the same time, but luckily the refracted laser went in the forest nearby.
Carter rushed towards him, but a large punch came out of nowhere and slammed the man on the ground.
Carter knew this powers, Emma? Carter thought.
Carter went near the man on the ground, he restrained him with chains created using Dark Faith.
Carter landed on the ground, and walked toward the man. He head beeping sound. The man looked up.
Carter's eyes widened, A robot? No he is about to explode. Carter created barrier around it and Carter jumped back. But after many seconds explosion never happened.
Suddenly, an explosion occurred in the sky. Carter looked up and he saw Ron who was coming towards Carter.
So, Ron took him in the sky. Carter said.
"Hi," Ron said waving his hand.
Carter nodded and smiled.
Ron and Carter landed on the ground.
I need new powers, with Dark Faith I couldn't save everyone. Carter said.
Ron looked at him and noticed his expression.
"Is something wrong?" Ron asked.
"Ron, do you know where DA is?" Carter asked.
"Nah, why?" Ron asked.
"I need to refine my abilities." Carter said.
"You have The Dark Faith ability." Ron said.
"I know, but I can't save everyone with only this." Carter replied.
Ron gave a single nod, and said, "It's a special ability even among the forbidden techniques. From what I know, yours on isn't complete." Ron said.
"DA said something to me about a relic, he said that it will sync perfectly with my Dark Faith." Carter said.
"Let's take care of this issue first." Ron said.
Carter gave him a nod.
"Follow me, Ron." Carter said.
"Where are we going?" Ron said.
Ron followed Carter. Both were on their way towards a certain place.
"Ron, you didn't tell me." Carter said.
"What?"
"About how yo knew Emma was not Future Lia." Carter said.
Ron took a deep breath, "Okay, listen first and ask questions at the end." Ron said.
Carter gave him a thumbs up.
"Dream and Lia are sisters." Ron said.
Carter's eyes widened, he opened his mouth to say something. But Ron cut him, "No questions now."
Ron took another breath and continued, "They are daughters of Dr. Thomas, or Wulkranoth."
Wulkranoth? Carter thought.
"Both his daughters are under a curse. From what I know that curse kills at it's fix time, not one second after not before." Ron said.
"And about the curse, I don't know about it. Wulkranoth himself told me that it's by the higher existences." Ron said. He looked at Carter.
"If Lia and Dream are sister, how is it possible that one is here with me and one lived with you 800 years ago. And who is Wulkranoth" Carter asked.
"Dr. Thomas came to future and left Lia here. Liam and here family raised her and named her Lia. And Dream, Thomas left her with me." Ron said.
Carter nodded, "My wife was pregnant when she died."
Ron nodded, "Dr. Thomas had two wives. One from the family of the Watcher, who is the mother of Lia. And one was from an unknown race, she was Dream's mother. She died when Dream was little so she didn't know anything about her. Dream was raised by Lia's mother till the age of four. Then, she met me and stayed with me." Ron said.
"And Dr. Thomas bought Lia to the future at that time and left her here." Ron said.
Carter swallowed the truth fast.
He nodded.
"Alright." Carter said, like it didn't matter but Ron knew better than anyone what he was going through.
