Mason Nightshade smiled as he picked her up from the bed, noticing Aurelia Shaw giving him a sidelong glance. He said with a straight face, "Your hand is injured."
So what does that have to do with her leg? Does she need someone to carry her?
"The knee is also injured," Mason calmly reminded her.
Her knee was injured in the car accident, not seriously, but since the leg was the same one she broke some time ago, Mason didn't want her walking around just to be safe.
The hospital had it all arranged.
What Aurelia Shaw didn't expect was that Mason arranged a VIP room for her.
After several tests, she was exhausted, initially pushing Mason away, but later on, she didn't even want to move, simply obediently lying in his arms as he carried her around.
The patients and their families in the hospital corridor watched this scene with envy.
