She lowered her head to avoid it, her gaze meeting Aurelia Shaw's puzzled look, and she conjured up a faint smile as if nothing had happened.
"Are these two...your friends?" Her eyes swept over Albert and Daisy, her unfamiliar gaze looking at them like strangers.
Albert curled his fingers slightly, raising a smile, "Hello, my name is Albert, nice to meet you for the first time."
Aurelia Shaw looked at them with even more confusion. Albert had always been a gentleman, and the smile he wore now was also gentlemanly and warm, showing no flaws. Yet, his eyes seemed to carry a sharpness, and the warm tone had a hint of gritted teeth.
