Mason Nightshade swallowed down his desire to pin her down, lock her up, keep her with him where he could always see her. His voice was deep and commanding as he spoke: "You have to call me every day."
"That's a non-negotiable condition," he added.
"Alright," Aurelia Shaw seemed to be in a good mood, she agreed with a smile.
Mason's mood eased a bit, "Call me as soon as you arrive there."
"Alright." Why is Mason such a nag today?
For the first time, Mason felt the pain of a long-distance relationship; he truly wished he could go with her if only he didn't have a heap of troublesome matters to deal with here.
Seeing him fall silent, Aurelia said, "I have to go now, I'm running out of time."
Mason remained silent for a moment, nodding, "Okay."
Aurelia smiled lightly when she saw his rigid expression, mischievously kissed the corner of his mouth, quickly pulled back, slammed the door shut, and strode into the airport with her luggage.
