Aurelia Shaw's expression was perfectly natural, not the least bit embarrassed at being caught buying something so "indecent."
That actually piqued the man's curiosity.
The man raised a brow. "Buying it for your boyfriend?"
That was a very offensive question.
Yet coming out of his mouth, it somehow didn't feel offensive.
Aurelia frowned slightly.
The man caught sight of the ring on her ring finger, the corners of his lips curling. "My apologies, I misspoke. For your husband? I didn't expect someone as young as you to already be married."
Aurelia brushed the ring with her fingertip. She wasn't worried this man would run around spreading rumors about her being married. Judging from his clothes—all designer—he was above doing something like that.
Even so, Aurelia didn't like engaging too much with a stranger.
Just as she was about to take both pairs of underwear and leave, the man's voice sounded again behind her. "Men prefer this style more."
