If we consider the Subspace as a game world, then the Eternal Venerable God is a character Su Tu plays in the game; without Su Tu's control, the character cannot be summoned actively.
Unless...
"What this statue summons is not the Eternal Venerable God but that source..."
Su Tu thought this in his heart, then grabbed the statue, and with a thought, entered the Subspace.
What met his eyes was the crimson source.
It was no different from when he came before.
"Just holding it doesn't change anything..."
Su Tu murmured to himself, then backed out. Later, he tried to activate it with True Qi and Heart and Spirit, but there was no change.
It was as if that previous faint stirring was merely his illusion.
"No way, should it really be ignited..." After trying various methods with no effect, Su Tu thoughtfully looked at the copper candle in the statue's hand.
Then, he snapped his fingers.
