The night in Jade Dragon Valley was anything but peaceful. Perhaps due to the arrival of winter, or perhaps because the valley was surrounded by mountains on three sides, the cold winds swept over the hills, swirling within the valley and striking the rocks on either side with a loud clatter. From time to time, stones were blown into the valley.
From the horizon, the sound of the beast tide grew ever louder.
This disturbance prevented many cultivators, even during their rest periods, from engaging in cultivation peacefully, prompting them to fly to the peaks surrounding Jade Dragon Valley.
On the mountain peaks, snow had settled, creating an expanse of white. The sky was filled with falling, feather-like snowflakes.
A stark contrast to the pleasant temperatures at the foot of the mountains.
