For the next four days, Xu Lin stayed in the provincial city.
He spent the first two days with Rong Xiyi, and the next two days with Yu Xinyan.
On the fifth day,
Xu Lin drove to Duanzhou.
"Brother-in-law!"
Before nightfall, Xu Lin met Suisui and An'an, and both of them greeted him in unison, running up to him. They hadn't seen Xu Lin for almost a year.
"You've grown taller!"
Xu Lin patted their little heads. He couldn't lift them as he used to.
Both of them had grown a lot. Two years ago, he could hold one of them in each arm, and they could even sit together on his shoulders. Now they had grown up to his chest level.
Xu Lin is six foot three.
"When do you have your holiday?"
Xu Lin asked them.
"We start our holiday on the 5th!" Suisui replied.
"Brother-in-law, look at An'an's report card!"
Not long after Xu Lin sat down, An'an brought over his report card.
"Alright, let me take a look."
Xu Lin took the report card and began to read.
