It was uncertain whether his next step would be to become a Balrog or a Flame Demon. The ascension of a Balrog is divisible as this path fuses demon bloodline and elemental law.
A lesser Balrog is a standard lower demon lord.
If he chooses to ascend as a Flame Demon, Orn's body will become elementalized. If he chooses the lesser Balrog, he will be enhancing his demon bloodline.
