"The queen bee just stepped in" Lily said nudging Tasha.
Tasha looked to the door of the class and sighed. She could never understand how someone as pretty as Sharon could be mean.
Guess looks can be deceiving. Just like Gusty. He was a very good example of how looks can be deceiving.
She looked on as Sharon and her friends sat down.
Silver whispered something to Sharon, and she turned her way.

Tasha sucked in air.
Sharon crossed her arms, eyes narrowed. Her jaw locked like she was biting back words.
"Can you stop staring?" Lily slapped her arm.

"You're making her feel important" Lily frowned as she looked at Sharon.

"Why are we in school again??" Bose yawned, stretching his arms over his head.
"Put your hand over your mouth when yawning" Miles snapped.
"Yes Daddy" Bose rolled his eyes
"Why are we in school??" Bose asked again hugging Zuba.
Zuba pushed him away as they climbed the stairs leading to their class.
"To learn of course" Zuba said frustrated
"Since when did we care about learning??" Munchy asked
All eyes turned to Gusty. He had been quiet throughout. Even on the way to school.
"What?" Gusty frowned
"You look so..." Bose began raising an eyebrow
"Eager" Munchy completed
"Thanks Man" Bose yawned widely, reaching for Munchy.
Miles rolled his eyes.
"Get your hands off me" Munchy slapped his hands away

"I want to sleep" Bose shouted
"Shut up Bose" They all said simultaneously and burst out laughing.
Bose frowned, folding his hands.
"What's the time??" Gusty asked
"You have a wristwatch" Miles replied
Gusty frowned.
Miles chuckled
"It's 10:45am" Zuba said
"It's our free period then" Munchy murmured
"Exactly" Gusty whispered smiling

His eyes roamed the class, skipping faces, searching, looking for someone.
When it found hers, he smiled widely.

Tasha turned the brightest shade of pink. She smiled and waved back.

"Wow" Bose rolled his eyes "so much for eagerness to learn" he added reaching for Gusty, arms wide open.
Miles laughed as he pulled Bose away.
"What's with you and hugging everyone today" Munchy laughed as he ruffled Bose's hair.
"I just want to sleep" Bose murmured as he sat down.

"Would you move??" Zuba nudged him frowning.

Gusty froze. He looked at Tasha. Her expression was unreadable.
"Oh Gusty" Sharon gushed wrapping her arms around his neck.
"What are you doing??" Gusty whispered to her, taking her hands away from his neck.
"Taking what's mine" She replied and kissed him.
The whole class gasped.
"Okay" Munchy murmured as he shook his head.
"Tasha" Lily whispered as Tasha stood up.
Gusty pushed Sharon, eyes shining
"I'll be outside" Tasha replied in a clipped voice as she walked away.
Sharon turned and winked at her friends. They giggled and rushed to her.

"Look, I'm here, begging, as a father. You know what it means to have a family" Mr Manchester began

"But I've lost mine" Mr Adele shouted

Cole covered his head, sighing.
He raised his head up....his eyes narrowed, he looked depressed.

"To hell with this" Mr Adele slammed his fist on the table. It shook terribly.
"You can keep it to yourself and die of guilt, or, you can tell me and we'll find a way out of this mess" He added angrily.

Thank goodness, the school compound was empty. She was not ready for unnecessary prying eyes.
"What was I thinking??" She muttered again, kicking an empty can as she strolled.
He was pretending???, for what exactly??. She thought he had changed. Not like anyone can change instantly, but she thought he was on his way, he was in the process.
Who the hell was she kidding??, he only acted nice to her for a day, just a day and she thought he had decided to change???.
Damn. Why then did he escort her home, he smiled at her, and looked at her like she mattered, that she was more than a victim, like she was more than his bullying toy.
She was so pained, so fucking pained. Why?, just why?.
And deep down, she thought that maybe, just maybe, he felt something for her. It was foolish, she realized that now. But he acted that way, he.....
She bent down hugging her knees.
Why did she ever think anything good can come out of him, someone who bullys people for fun, to display his power???.
You know what, to hell with him. She was not ever going to put herself in anything that has to do with him. From now henceforth, she was going to avoid him like her life depends on it, cause it actually does.

"Why the heck do you guys look confused then?" He asked, eyes narrowed
Everyone grumbled. No one spoke up.
"Okay then, we'll take it from the top" he said as he wiped the board clean
"Noo" The class groaned frustrated
Just then the closing bell rang.
"Yessss" Everyone shouted excitedly.
Mr Shouty grumbled as he packed up his book, leered at them and left.
"I just hate that man" Lily muttered as she packed up her bag
"Hmm" Tasha murmured absent minded
"Tasha"
"Yes" Tasha turned to her, "what is it?"
"Nothing. Just pack up" Lily sighed.
Tasha stood up and began packing her bags. As she turned to go, a hand touched her shoulder.
She smirked as she looked into Gusty's face. He looked unhappy. Of course he would, his plan didn't work.
She pushed his hand away, hissed and walked away.
"Tasha" He called softly. But she didn't turn, would never turn.
"You know what" Lily turned to him "try being a good person for once"
