UK:GSW Chapter 402 – The No. 2 Nagato's Threat Levels to the Two Konohas

In World No. 2, Nagato's plan to attack the Hidden Leaf came as no surprise. After all, with the jinchūriki of the One-Tails through the Seven-Tails already captured, leaving only two tailed beasts unaccounted for, Nagato's goal was clear.

The last attempt to capture the Eight-Tails had failed — the Eight-Tails' jinchūriki had tricked him, leaving Nagato extremely vexed. Still, he had managed to acquire some of the Eight-Tails' chakra, though Killer B, the Eight-Tails' jinchūriki, had since gone into hiding.

With the White Zetsu army now out of control and under the command of a mysterious member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, even Black Zetsu could not track down the Eight-Tails' jinchūriki's location.

Thus, Black Zetsu urged Nagato to capture the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki immediately, then proceed straight to the revival ritual for the Ten-Tails, making himself its jinchūriki.

This Ten-Tails would be incomplete, its strength somewhat lacking — but at this point, that no longer mattered. Reviving the Ten-Tails took priority above all else; everything else could wait.

Black Zetsu was impatient and deeply anxious, fearing that if they delayed, an extraterrestrial Ōtsutsuki might arrive in the shinobi world before the seal on his "mother," Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, could be undone.

Yes — Black Zetsu had, in fact, been completely taken in by Uchiha Kei's story. He genuinely believed that the White Zetsu army's loss of control was due to a powerful, mysterious Ōtsutsuki seizing command, and that this being was about to descend upon the shinobi world.

Now racing against time, Black Zetsu could no longer afford to lie low. He began bringing out all of his most hidden, most precious assets to support his last hope — Nagato.

Seeing this, Nagato and Konan each had their own thoughts, realizing that Black Zetsu possessed far more resources than they had imagined, and was in fact an even greater threat than "Uchiha Madara."

However, they were now in a stage of deep cooperation, and the terrifying "mysterious enemy" Black Zetsu spoke of was also a massive danger. The Ten-Tails had to be revived and controlled before this enemy arrived in the shinobi world — only then would they have the power to oppose it.

Although Black Zetsu withheld the full truth, he did reveal the part about the terrifying enemy from beyond the world. Using this, he managed to convince Nagato.

Or rather — not exactly "convince" him, since Black Zetsu himself had been fooled. He merely passed on what he believed to be the truth, omitting certain key details.

At first, Nagato was half-skeptical. But with "Uchiha Madara" already dead, he was forced to believe it.

The fact that the man he feared most, "Uchiha Madara," had been killed without a sound by this mysterious enemy before even arriving in the shinobi world spoke volumes about the enemy's power.

If such a thing could be done before even setting foot in this world, could the Rinnegan alone truly stand against them? Nagato doubted it. And Black Zetsu told him plainly: the Rinnegan alone would not be enough — only the power of the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki could prevail.

With that, Nagato abandoned his previous caution and became aggressive.

At the same time, he revealed an extreme arrogance — that of a self-proclaimed god, looking down upon the shinobi world from on high.

Nagato believed that everything he was doing was just, that he was truly protecting the shinobi world and bringing it peace. But his vision was too grand for ordinary people to understand. They would surely reject his demands.

Thus, from the start, Nagato had discarded the option of negotiation. He believed that as a god, he had no need to speak to mortals. Only by presenting them with absolute might would they understand that they had no choice — that following the god's will was the only right path, the only wise course, the only way to save the shinobi world from the coming apocalypse.

So, with a presence like a god descending to his own theme music, Nagato transformed the captured jinchūriki into the Six Paths of Pain and set off for No. 2's Hidden Leaf.

Although Nagato and Konan moved with great secrecy, the immense chakra fluctuations of the jinchūriki could not be fully hidden. The White Zetsu sensed it immediately — after all, both the White Zetsu and the tailed beasts shared the same origin.

The report was sent at once and, through a handful of White Zetsu blessed by Uchiha Kei, reached Kei directly.

Kei immediately relayed the news to the others. With the genjutsu network now linking both worlds, real-time communication was possible.

A cross-world meeting was opened instantly — via WeChat, no less.

For most people in No. 2's world, this was their first taste of the genjutsu network's convenience. The online conference left them awed and amazed yet again at the main world's godlike technology.

The gap between them was vast.

So vast it felt like they weren't even from the same world.

Wait — they actually weren't from the same world.

Never mind, then.

Thus, amid much astonishment, the leadership of both Hidden Leafs began their first inter-world meeting, the agenda being No. 2's Nagato attacking No. 2's Hidden Leaf.

Nagato's current state was shared openly, allowing both sides to fully understand his present power.

The body of the Uzumaki Clan — though he had not awakened their kekkei genkai, his life force and chakra reserves were complete.

On top of that, he had grafted White Zetsu cells into himself, extensively modifying his body — regaining a healthy form and dramatically boosting his vitality and chakra.

He possessed the Rinnegan — confirmed to be Uchiha Madara's own eyes. Madara had not died at the Valley of the End against the First Hokage, but had used the Uchiha clan's forbidden technique, Izanagi, to survive. He had acquired the First Hokage's flesh, transplanted it, awakened the Rinnegan late in life, and planned the Eye of the Moon Plan.

With the Rinnegan, Nagato had reanimated the dead jinchūriki from the Two-Tails to the Seven-Tails, transforming them into the Six Paths of Pain under his control — and granting them the ability to fully transform into their tailed beasts while remaining completely under his command.

Some of this intelligence was known to No. 2's shinobi world, some not. Now, all of it was shared, ensuring that everyone in No. 2's world understood exactly how dangerous their Nagato had become.

They were stunned — the revelations overturned their worldviews.

Even more frightening was the idea of six jinchūriki, fully transformed into their tailed beasts, under Nagato's total control.

While jinchūriki had often performed poorly on the battlefield — owing to strained relationships with their tailed beasts — no one doubted the destructive potential of a tailed beast itself. Normally, villages kept their jinchūriki at home as deterrents rather than sending them into battle.

But Nagato could unleash them at full power with perfect control. Even if they weren't as strong as perfect jinchūriki like Killer B or Naruto Uzumaki, their combat potential under such direction was undeniable.

This meant No. 2's Hidden Leaf now faced the strongest enemy in its history — at least, in their understanding.

Lacking firsthand experience of Uchiha Madara's or Hashirama Senju's full might, they saw this Nagato as the new "God of the Shinobi."

And the worst part — this time, the "God of the Shinobi" was not their protector, but their destroyer.

The pressure weighed like a mountain.

In contrast, the main world's Hidden Leaf leadership remained calm — even relaxed.

They did not underestimate No. 2's Nagato — they knew he was formidable, perhaps the strongest open force in the shinobi world.

But that was the key — he was only the strongest openly.

Hidden Leaf still had the First Hokage and his wife, the Second Hokage, the White Fang — all summoned as heroic spirits, ready to fight if Kei called. Though their chakra was fixed and could no longer grow, their battle skills had improved dramatically through Kei's simulated combat worlds.

Hashirama and Madara had spent half a year in high-intensity team battles. Even Mito Uzumaki had improved considerably, sharpening her skills in the same way.

For true experts, growth in the game world was still real growth.

If Kei summoned them into reality, they could unleash power surpassing their lifetimes.

The living top-tier fighters — the Sannin — had also improved, though to varying degrees. Orochimaru, in particular, had grown the most, focusing almost entirely on study and research.

He had all but given up personal combat, but his contributions to Hidden Leaf through technology and science were unparalleled — from agriculture to medicine, even now planning chakra-based mechanized farming and livestock production with Sasori's help.

And, of course, the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze — arguably the strongest living shinobi in the main world's Hidden Leaf. Even if he was not definitively stronger than No. 2's Nagato, he was certainly no weaker — and if given the chance, he could take him down in a single strike with Flying Thunder God and the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.

With these top-class fighters — and with Kei himself as the ultimate, off-the-charts trump card — No. 2's Nagato posed little real threat to the main world.
