Noah glared at Axel, his expression bitter and wounded. "Didn't you say you wouldn't give me something hard to do, Princess?"
Axel shamelessly nodded his head, maintaining an air of complete innocence. "Of course I remembered what I promised you," he replied. "I said I wouldn't give you anything hard, and I didn't. I only asked you to change your sitting position for some time. How is that something hard?"
Noah desperately wanted to curse Axel for his sheer, audacious shamelessness. But what made Noah even more speechless was that James was grinning from ear to ear, clearly reveling in the moment. 'Can James at least pretend that he's not enjoying this?' Noah thought to himself, feeling his cheeks grow warm.
Axel noticed Noah's hesitation and gave him a gentle, firm push. "What are you doing? Do it already, or drink a whole bottle of wine then."
