Axel just rolled his eyes at Marlon when his brother suggested giving the captives a pen and paper.
It was a typical Marlon move, finding a practical, if slightly absurd, solution to a problem he had partially caused himself by shooting the men in the jaw.
Even though Axel made a show of his annoyance, he knew they were on a very tight clock, and he didn't have a better alternative if he wanted information. He accepted the idea without further argument because the mission was the priority.
Axel turned his attention to his team, his eyes scanning the faces of Celine and the others. "Who among you actually has a pen and paper on them right now?" he asked, his voice echoing slightly against the metal crates.
Axel watched their reactions closely. Chase, Hunter, and Celine all immediately shook their heads to signify that they didn't have any writing materials on their person.
