The silence echoes through the Theater, the Crowd is waiting for Thorn to say something, and Thorn is waiting for John to say something, and then.
John & Thorn: If any of you have any objections, speak now or forever hold your peace.
As they hear that, the students want to object but they know what will happen if they even try, so the Theater is full of silence.
John & Thorn: I'll take this as an agreement, Tomorrow morning, All the students and the teachers must work together under the guidance of the high ranking students, now I'll leave you with Ms. Lona to explain what you have to do.
As Thorn gets down from the stage, Lona takes his place and starts explaining and making groups.
Behind the stage Thorn walks to the back door, ignoring the high ranking students' stares, when he closes the door, he looks at the long white hallway, he looks at the right and finds no one, then he looks at the left and also find no one.
Thorn: where is he? He said he'll be here.
Suddenly John appears behind Thorn and put his hand on the old man's shoulder scaring him to death.
John: Looking for me old man?
Thorn: AAAAAHHHHH!!! Mr shon?! W-Where did you come from?!
John: I was here but it seems like you're getting older and might need to wear glasses, I was behind you all the time, well, your job has been done, you can go to your office.
Thorn: pardon me for asking you this, but did we really have to say all that? And the thing about the fate that is worse than death, I really don't think the Royal King will allow such a thing, so why?
John puts a gentle smile on his face and plays with Elesa that's sitting on his shoulder while explaining.
John: oh Thorn my ugly old man friend, Haven't you heard the saying, "Knowledge is power in the hands of those who know how to use it"? I simply used common knowledge that everyone inside or outside the Academy knows, which is the Royal Family is the one who mainly funded building this place, even though this place doesn't take Financial aid from the Royal Family, and it's not connected to them, but people assume it does, I just used their knowledge against them; the students – even the teachers – don't really care about the history of this Academy, They just see it as a place to make profit, gain experience, and evolve, the true history of Victoria Academy means nothing to them, that's why I wasn't scared of telling them all that, so did this answer satisfy you?
Thorn's face filled with horror as he hears that.
Thorn: T-That's genius (seriously, how did he think of such a thing? Even I've forgotten about that simple information) I'll take my leave now, good night Mr. shon.
As Thorn leaves, John turns to the other side of the hallway and finds a familiar figure standing alone in the end of it.
He knew who that person is, especially with their silver hair.
John nodded at Anexa, as if there were an agreement between them, Elesa looks puzzled of what just happened.
Elesa: What was that?
John plays dumb, mostly to tease her.
John: hmmm? What do you mean?
Elesa: don't act like you don't know, what's going between you and that girl?
John: who knows.
Elesa: wait, you're not in a relationship with her, right?
John: You really need to stop reading those salacious novels, it's messing with your mind.
John then enters the back stage where Lania and the others are, casually enough, John walks up to them while they discuss something.
Lona: now that the students are willing to help, and They were divided into groups, we only need to start the work and hope for the best.
John: yo.
Lania: look who finally decided to join us.
John: what did I miss?
Aldric: pretty much everything, Lania told us that you're the one who made that speech.
Everyone starts explaining to John what happened during the speech, but he really can't help but think if he should tell them or not.
John: (should I tell them I was behind Thorn all that time whispering everything to him or not? Heh, probably not).
Lona: by the way John.
John: hmmm?
Lona: All groups have been prepared, and we will begin constructing defenses tomorrow.
John: good I'll leave it to you then.
John faces Lania and tells her about their plan for the next day.
John: Lania, tomorrow we'll start looking for the spell in other factions of the Academy.
Lania: I already marked the possible places of where it might be.
John: good, we'll start tomorrow at noon.
Lania looked a little confused when he said they'll start at noon.
Lania: wait why don't we go in the morning? In that way we can take our time to search.
John: I already have something important coming up in the morning.
Cohly: even more important than finding the spell?
John: I won't say it's more important, but I would say it's as equal.
Lania: if that's the case then I don't see a reason to object.
Arnold: we should get some sleep, Tomorrow will be a busy day.
John: I agree, you guys still remember the plan right?
Lona: yeah we still remember it, don't worry about us.
John: good.
John left the back stage of the theater, heading to his room, lost in his thoughts.
John: (we have a very limited time to search for the spell, not to mention the other parts of the plan, the sooner we find the spell, the faster the plan can be done).
In that night, everyone slept knowing that their fate is connected to the success of the plan.
[Two days later]
John and Lania are sitting in the empty cafeteria after looking for the spell in a lot of different places in the Academy, at this point they're thinking whether the spell is in the Academy or not.
Lania: we've been searching for two days straight, could they've been wrong and the spell isn't even here?
John: hmmm, that's also possible, but I won't draw any conclusions yet, are there any places we haven't checked yet?
Lania: well, there is one place left, here take a look.
Lania handed him the Academy's map, and John immediately recognizes the place she mentioned.
John: the principal office.
